Grinding Turtles in Alterac, Levels 29-32

What better way to escape from the tedium of your desk job in the Stormwind Library than by wreaking havoc upon the turtle populations of the Alterac Mountains? Not many, really. Unless you’re really into brooding Nelfs looking to cyber at the Goldshire Inn (shudder).

On this hunting expedition we will be focusing on Snapjaw Turtles, who cluster in two geographic areas: the southern shore of Lordamere Lake and along the unnamed(?) river running from Scholomance in WPL to Southshore in Hillsbrad. Like all my favorite turtles, they are yellow (meaning no adds) and go down without much of a fight. They also have decent drops.

Also, be careful if you are grinding the turtles along the river north of Tarren Mill; it is a favorite haunt of Narillasanz, an level 44 elite dragon who has been known to pwn players 10 levels higher than him.
